As a VITA Volunteer, you'll help individuals and families with low to moderate incomes file their taxes for FREE while building hands-on tax knowledge and skills.
NOT TAX EXPERIENCE? NO PROBLEM!
Training and certification are provided.
VITA volunteers help provide free, quality tax preparation services to eligible Utah residents. IRS-certified training is provided for all tax preparation volunteers
Don’t Want to prepare Taxes? We also need greeters to welcome tax payers, assist with check-in, and help keep appointments running smoothly.
WHERE AND WHEN CAN I HELP?
VITA sites are located throughout Box Elder, Cache, and Rich Counties, with volunteer opportunities available during the day and evening.
We prefer volunteers to commit to at least one shift each week from February through mid April and, when possible, volunteer on the same day each week.
Need flexibility? We understand! We’re happy to work with you and your schedule when possible.
